First Western Helps Bas Bleu Theater Secure Loan for New Location
Fort Collins, CO (PRWEB) August 17, 2007 -- First Western Trust Bank, the West's premier private bank and trust company, announced today that it has secured financing to help Bas Bleu Theater double its performance space and seating capacity.
As one of Fort Collins' premier arts organizations, Bas Bleu Theatre Company's mission is to present outstanding theater that not only inspires both audience and artist alike in an intimate "salon" setting but also enrichs the cultural life of the region.
For years, Bas Bleu put on world-class performances and was widely recognized for regional theatre excellence. Their fame, however, outgrew their space. Bas Bleu found a new location after a local arts patron purchased a site at 401 Pine Street, on the edge of Old Fort Collins Heritage Park. The new site increased overall seating capacity from 43 people to 99 people.

Bas Bleu has successfully launched a capital campaign, recently raising enough money for a significant down payment to buy the building from the patron. First Western helped facilitate this loan as well. "Bas Bleu is now on the road to sustainability and a permanent home," said Behr.
