Seth Godin Noted Agent of Change to Speak May 22, Michigan Theater Ann Arbor, Michigan

Ann Arbor, Mich. (PRWEB) April 28, 2007 -- Seth Godin, a noted author and change agent, will make a special appearance before an audience from across Southeast Michigan when he speaks about his newest book The Dip in Ann Arbor on May 22 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. as part of a multi-partner group's drive to create greater awareness of marketing and new media.

Godin, author of several bestselling books, has been called "the prime minister of permission marketing" by Promo magazine. He is well known around the nation for his writings and talks on forms of new media - blogging, social media, digital marketing.

Godin, who earned an MBA degree at Stanford, founded Yoyodyne, a leading interactive direct marketing company that Yahoo acquired in 1998. His latest book, "All Marketers Are Liars," (www.allmarketersareliars.com) is on the Amazon Top 100 list. The event takes place at the Michigan Theater, 603 East Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the program, chaired by Derek Mehraban, president of Ingenex Group, will run from 3 to 4:30 p.m. A book signing for Godin will follow at SPARK Central, 300 East Liberty, prior to a Marketing Roundtable program on New Marketing: blogging, web 2.0, social media, podcasting and consumer generated content.
